Module 3: MINIMALLY INVASIVE & PREVENTIVE AESTHETIC TREATMENT
This comprehensive theoretical and practical module explores the principles and clinical applications of Minimal Intervention Dentistry (MID), with a focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of enamel and dentin lesions such as white spot lesions, hypoplasia, and erosion.
Participants will gain an overview of contemporary treatment approaches ranging from non-invasive to minimally invasive techniques, including in-office and at-home whitening, resin infiltration, and micro- and macro-abrasion, presented from a multidisciplinary and innovation-driven perspective.
The hands-on component is designed to equip clinicians with predictable, minimally invasive esthetic treatment protocols. Practical sessions will cover microabrasion, gingival protection and isolation for bleaching, adhesive strategies, modern composite application techniques, and simplified finishing and polishing protocols for direct and indirect restorations..
